FBBC is a local, independent, autonomous & self-governing body of believers. We are partnered with the Southern Baptist Convention in a cooperative nature for the purposes of advancing the Kingdom of God locally and internationally.
The Bible - We believe the Bible to be the sole authority for the instruction of the believer. We further hold that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, divinely inspired and God breathed. (2 Tim. 3:16)
Salvation – We believe that every person is born into the world in a sinful state and in need of redemption. We believe the wages of sin is death and eternal separation from God in a literal hell. We believe that Jesus Christ is the sole source of saving grace and that He gave Himself, on the cross of Calvary as payment for the sins of all mankind. We believe that Jesus offers salvation, as a free gift, to all who would believe in Him, repent of their sins and accept Him as Lord. (Rom. 10:9 & 13)
The Trinity – We believe in the triune nature of God as manifested in the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father reigns supreme over all creation for the purposes of His Grace. We believe that Jesus Christ is His only begotten son, born of the virgin Mary. We believe He walked among us and died upon the cross for our sins. That he was buried and rose again on the third day. That afterward He ascended into Heaven and is now seated on the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. We believe that the Holy Spirit, our divine Comforter, was sent at the ascension of Christ to the church and that He now resides within the heart of every believer.
The Return of Christ – We believe that Jesus is coming back for the church, His bride. We believe He is preparing a place for the believer and that He will come again to receive us unto himself. (John 14:1-3)
